Teen Studio: Black and White Photography (July 30-Aug 10)

Main Line Art Center

746 Panmure Road Haverford PA 19041
  • Monday July 30th 2012 at 12:00am to Friday August 10th 2012 at 12:00am

Learn to capture and draw with light as you discover why photography has long been the favored medium of fine art and documentary work. Students will become proficient in the essentials of artistry and technique, and will learn how to develop a personal style and point of view. Using a film camera, students will learn about composition, lighting and camera settings. B&W Photography classes offer students the chance to learn about traditional photography and develop their own prints in the darkroom, exploring process and printing on alternative surfaces.

Students must provide their own 35 mm manual camera. Limited manual cameras are available to rent. Please contact Main Line Art Center in advance.
