Since 1997, the annual Fringe Festival has been the place to see Philadelphia’s contemporary and experimental performing artists within a four-week period.
The 2023 Fringe Festival is sure to impress once again as over 1,000 performances are put on at traditional and bizarre — including digital — venues from September 7 to September 24.
The Fringe Festival is open to anyone who wants to produce their own show. For some, it's a once-a-year opportunity to create a show; for professional companies, it can be an opportunity to try something new. All shows are accepted, in the spirit of the international “Fringe” movement.
Here at PFG, we loooove Fringe Festival! Keep us updated this year on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram @Phillyfunguide!
*Please be sure to view and participate in these activities safely. For up-to-date information on the City of Philadelphia's COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines, visit their official website.
