War of 1812 Bicentennial Tall Ship Weekend

Mark the Bicentennial of the start of the War of 1812 at Independence Seaport Museum's Tall Ship Weekend. You're invited to visit the Seaport Museum's new exhibit Home of the Brave: the War of 1812 in Art, Story & Song, then climb aboard aboard Lynx, a replica of a real 1812-era privateer. Visitors can also take a deck tour of the HMS Bounty (built for the classic film Mutiny on the Bounty) or Philadelphia's official Tall Ship, Gazela. All three Tall Ships will be docked outside the Seaport Museum over the weekend for visitors to enjoy.

Tall Ship Schedule:

June 21st: Ship Tours, 4-6 pm
June 22nd: Ship Tours, 10 am-1 pm; River Tour, 2-4 pm
June 23rd: Ship Tours, 10 am-1 pm; River Tour, 2-4 pm
June 24th: Ship Tours, 10 am-1 pm; River Tour, 2-4 pm

HMS Bounty and Gazela: Deck Tours only, 10 am-7 pm. Deck tours include access to the deck of the ship while docked.

River Tours (two hours sailing) aboard Lynx are also available. Visit Lynx's website to purchase tickets.
