Hailing from Atlanta, Collective Soul shot to international fame with its 1993 release, Hints, Allegations and Things Left Unsaid, and No. 1 hit "Shine." The album was a collection of singer and guitarist Ed Roland's demos that spread quickly through the college underground circuit and caught fire, going on to achieve double platinum status. The group's self-titled album, released in 1995, contained four hit singles (three of which reached No. 1), and became Collective Soul's biggest selling album to date. The recording went triple platinum, spending 76 weeks on the Billboard Top 200 charts.
During its show at the Musikfest Cafe, Collective Soul will perform its 1999 platinum album Dosage in its entirety. The recording, a fan-favorite, includes hits like "Run" and "Tremble For My Beloved," which was featured in the Twilight movie and soundtrack, introducing the band to a younger generation of listeners. In addition to Dosage, Collective Soul will perform other songs from its catalog that has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide and produced seven No. 1 radio hits during the group's nearly 20-year career. Collective Soul will also premiere some new songs that will be included on its upcoming studio album.
