The Friends of the Wanamaker Organ - the world's largest pipe organ - are proud to offer comprehensive tours of this landmark musical instrument! We will discuss the history of the organ and building as we listen to one of our daily recitals, then go behind the scenes to see the restoration training facility, stage and light show areas, main organ chamber, organ console, string and orchestral divisions, upper blower room, and (if time permits) the Sky Atrium and Crystal Tea Room!
Our comprehensive tours are held on the last Saturday of the month (January-October) beginning at 12:00pm sharp at The Eagle, and last approximately two hours. Tickets are required and must be purchased in advance - please be prepared to show your electronic or paper ticket receipt on the day of the tour. More information is available by calling 484-684-7250 or visiting www.wanamakerorgan.com.
