Neumann University

1 Neumann Drive Bruder Life Center - Meagher Theatre Aston PA 19014
  • Thursday November 11th 2010 at 12:00am to Sunday November 14th 2010 at 12:00am

With sharp wit and playful command of language, Pygmalion remains one of George Bernard Shaw's most popular plays. On a rainy day in Victorian England, esteemed phonetician Prof. Henry Higgins becomes acquainted with the clumsy, coarse dialect of one Eliza Doolittle, an "incarnate insult to the English language!" As a sculptor with rough stone, Higgins seeks to create a fine "duchess" out of unrefined Eliza. But, once refined, can she help him to polish his own coarse demeanor?
