You can find us in South Philadelphia at the corner of Mifflin & 15th Streets, where we share space with Brew (specialty bottle beer takeout!), and in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood at the corner of 22nd & Catharine Streets, below Counter Culture Coffee’s Philadelphia Training Center.

We (owners Aaron and Elizabeth) opened the first Ultimo Coffee in South Philly’s Newbold neighborhood in May, 2009.  We have been blessed with an ever-great staff and have been met by an amazing and humbling customer following; our family has grown, we’ve learned a lot more about coffee, and in October, 2012, we opened our second location in Graduate Hospital where we look forward to continuing to meet everyone in our new spot.

We serve Counter Culture coffee, with the occasional guest coffee on the roster (usually, this changes monthly); the coffee menu varies as the seasons and coffee availability/quality changes, but we always have plenty of options from which to choose. All drip coffee is hand-poured either in Chemex brewers or on the drip bar in Beehouse drippers, using filtered water and the best coffee.  All espresso drinks are crafted on La Marzocco espresso machines (GB5 in Newbold and a Strada MP in Graduate Hospital) by trained and certified baristas using single origin coffees and sweet, sweet milk from nearby Lancaster County. We are constantly monitoring the quality of all our coffee to ensure you get the good stuff.
