Philadelphia's favorite holiday tradition is back this year and better than ever! Back for its 11th season, Christmas Village returns LOVE Park for six weeks this season!
Modeled after traditional German holiday markets, Christmas Village will once again transform LOVE Park into a multicultural Christmas mecca starting on Thanksgiving Day, November 22 (following the parade) until Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24.
Enjoy holiday sights and sounds with thousands of twinkling lights, the LOVE Park Christmas Tree, live music, children’s activities and photos with Santa Claus at the village.
Admission is free, with food, drink and shopping pay as you go.
Christmas Village is made up of 70 booths as well as a big vendor tent, much like those found in traditional Christmas Villages in Germany. Within the village, you'll find a wide variety of seasonal goods that you won't find anywhere else. Comprised of over 80 international and local vendors, there will be no shortage of places for you to find that perfect gift, the best glass of mulled wine, or a snack to eat while browsing.
If all the shopping and holiday wonder wasn't enough, Christmas Village will also be offering guests tasting tours with Chaddsford Winery, Ho Ho Happy Hours on Wednesday evenings and other themed events throughout the week, including Village traditions like German American Weekend and Make-A-Wish Weekend.
The official opening ceremony will be held on Sunday, November 25. Bring the whole family together for a chance to meet Christkind from Nuremberg, the traditional symbol of the Christmas Market, as she reads from her holiday prologue and gives gifts to children.
