    Happy Birthday Irving Berlin

     

    "Lyric Fest’s “Happy Hours” combine a one-hour, 5:30pm song concert with one of Lyric Fest’s tasteful and tasty receptions. The May 11 fete will celebrate the birthday of the Russian immigrant who gave us White ChristmasEaster Parade, and God Bless America. Lyric Fest’s song recitals have always ventured far beyond the standard European art song tradition, and Irving Berlin is a special favorite of Lyric Fest’s co-director, Suzanne DuPlantis..."
