Throughout this series, The Galleries at Moore checks in with members of the Class of 2020 to learn more about their thesis projects, the ways in which they have adapted their creative visions to the realities of COVID-19 restrictions, and their plans for the future.
In this episode, Nina Valdera (BFA Art Education) tells us about her thesis—a collection of sculptures made of wood, LED lights, and acrylic sheets that create tranquil and meditative spaces—and the reasons why she is drawn to light as a metaphor for life and a means of expressing spirituality.
