Historic Sugartown has partnered with The Philadelphia Watercolor Society to host a Plein Air Art Show & Sale that will run from July 1st through October 1st. The Art Show & Sale will showcase the artistic work of Philadelphia Watercolor Society members in the Historic Sugartown’s c. 1805 William Garrett House. Art Sale proceeds will raise funds for the continued preservation of the village of Sugartown.
On May 25, June 9-10, June 23-24th, and July 27-29, Historic Sugartown will offer free “Plein Air Days” featuring artists from the Philadelphia Watercolor Society who will be painting on the village’s grounds.
The show will begin with a free opening weekend on Saturday, July 1st from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday, July 2nd from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The show will continue to be on view during Historic Sugartown’s regular weekend tours and by appointment through October 1st. Sale proceeds will support the continued preservation of Historic Sugartown.
