    Take a close look at maple trees, especially sugar maple. How did the Native Americans and early settlers get their maple sugar? Learn how we can make maple syrup from the sap of this special tree. Taste maple sugar and pure maple syrup and compare with commercial varieties. Hear a Native American legend about the discovery of maple sap. Maple candy will be available for purchase.

     

    Meet at the pavilions. Ages: adults and children 6 and up. Pre-registration is required.
