Currently the trail begins at Mansfield Township Park and runs for 2 miles off road to Skunk Island Rd. After a one mile on road section the trail then goes for another half mile through Veteran's Memorial Park in Springfield to the intersection of Route 537 (Monmouth Road) and Jacksonville Jobstown Road in Springfield Township.

The Kinkora Rail Trail will one day span 13 miles between Roebling and Pemberton.

Two segments are in planning. The Delaware River Heritage Trail 130 bypass will use the north end of the former rail corridor while Springfield Township is seeking funding to extend the existing trail 2 miles southeast to the Juliustown section of the Township.
