    ‌Wellness Saturday: Forest‌ ‌Bathing‌ ‌

    Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education

    Where:
    8480 Hagy's Mill Road, Philadelphia, PA 19128
    When:
    • Saturday January 25th 2020, 9:30am to 10:30am
Shinrin-Yoku, which translates to “forest bathing,” is a traditional Japanese form of nature therapy. From the immune boosts of calming compounds given off by trees to the improved mood, energy, and overall well-being offered, forest bathing helps us find healing through deepening our connection to nature. We will end with a tea ceremony using native plants.

Don’t let the cold temperatures keep you inside. Join us the last Saturday of every month for a FREE wellness program. We’ll enjoy the peacefulness of the winter forest as we exercise both our body and mind. Please dress for the weather. No registration required.
