EgoPo Classic Theater's 2019-2020 Shepard Country Season is a festival dedicated to the late Sam Shepard, a Pulitzer and Obie Award winning playwright whose work came to define American theater by creating worlds that challenged the very definition of the American dream. We honor his 2017 passing and extraordinary life of artistic risk-taking with a season dedicated to his greatest works: Buried Child, Fool for Love, and Curse of the Starving Class.
