    A Festival of Strings

    Music at Bunker Hill

    275 Bridgeton Pike
    Mullica Hill, NJ 08062
    • Saturday May 22nd 2021, 2:30pm to 4:00pm

A Festival of Strings (5/22 Live, 5/23 Online) brings together the works of composers Johannes Brahms and Max Bruch, contemporaries and friends.

The program also reunites alumni from The Perlman Music Program, who are thrilled to explore this beautiful segment of the Romantic Era repertoire. This unusual program pairs Brahms' String Quintet in F major, a pillar of the repertoire, with Max Bruch's gorgeous but nearly forgotten String Quintet in E flat major.

This program is made possible in part by funding from The Gloucester County Cultural and Heritage Commission at Rowan College of South Jersey, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. Additional support is provided by The Presser Foundation.
