The 2021 French Heritage Society Book Award, live on Zoom on Thursday April 22nd from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, is honoring “A Bite-Sized History of France: Gastronomic Tales of Revolution, War, and Enlightenment” by Stéphane Hénaut & Jeni Mitchell.
The one hour virtual program will include:
•Welcome remarks by FHS Chairman Elizabeth Stribling,
•A lively discussion with the authors moderated by Laura Auricchio, Dean of Fordham College at Lincoln Center
•Presentations on the short-listed books
•A Presentation of the award by FHS Board member Christian Draz
•Live Q&A and virtual cocktail with the authors, jurors and steering committee
Each ticket includes a complimentary copy of A Bite-Sized History of France so participants have the opportunity to enjoy the book prior to the event.
Ticket costs range from $200 to $500.
