    Delaware Valley Opera Company presents a double bill --two short power packed operas by Puccini -- Il Tabarro (in Italian w/ supertitles) and Suor Angrlica (in English). Get ready for an adrenalin rush/wet handkerchief ride with dazzlingly beautiful music.

    Il Tabarro is set at the riverside docks in Paris. Giorgetta is Michele's much younger wife. Since losing their child, she has wandering eyes that have fallen on Luigi, one of her husband's dock hands. The lovers plan for the future, but they are no match for a jealous husband.

    Suor Angelica is set in a peaceful convent where Sister Angelica has a secret she must keep to proect her family's honor. In the quiet corners of the convent, the burden of the secret preys upon her, drawing her closer and closer to a desperate act.

    There is a paid parking lot on the premises. Please plan to arrive at least a half hour early if you will be using it. AC is COLD! Please bring a sweater. Refreshments will be sold.
