Hailed by The Washington Post for his “formidable virtuosity and stylistic sensitivity,” pianist Tomer Gewirtzman has impressed judges and audiences around the world. His many accolades include First Prizes at Louisiana’s Wideman International Piano Competition, Israel’s Clairmont Competition, the Aspen Music Festival Concerto Competition, and the Chopin Competition for Young Pianists in Tel Aviv, as well as top prizes at Juilliard’s Piano Competition and in numerous competitions in Europe. He has performed with orchestras and in recitals across Israel, throughout Europe from London to Russia, and in the U.S. from New York’s Carnegie Hall to the Silicon Valley.
