The Buck and a Quarter Quartet (yes, there are six of them) makes its debut at Tri-State Jazz. Reedman John Bianchi leads this great New York based band. The "quartet" plays forgotten gems of the golden age of American popular music, as well as vintage-inspired originals. They play in their own category-defying style, described as "skiffle meets Cole Porter" and "what IS this?” mostly on strings. They've appeared at numerous venues, events and festivals, and now they're visiting us in Wallingford.
