High School Park is an 11 acre natural oasis in the heart of Elkins Park, PA. Trails, native plants, and wildlife make it a lovely place to walk, explore and relax in three diverse natural environments: a thriving meadow of black-eyed Susan's, butterfly weed, native grasses and wildflowers; a woodlands filled with creeping Phlox, Winterberry, Viburnum, fragrant and berry-laden bushes and trees; and a stream bank ecosystem complete with river birch and sycamore. Located at High School Road and Montgomery Avenue, the park is easily accessible by bike, foot or train.
