HCSV is an Early American, open-air living history museum comprised of 26 restored, historic buildings on 20 acres of land. Interpreters dressed in period clothing present the trades and crafts from the "age of homespun", including blacksmithing, pottery, and basketweaving. Featuring special weekend events all summer long, distance learning programs in the fall and winter, and field trips in the spring. Group rates available. Free parking.
