You do not want to miss this one. Ani Cordero created the bilingual indie-rock band Cordero in Tucson, Arizona in1999. She soon moved to New York City where her husband Chris Verene joined the band as drummer. Cordero eventually evolved into its current line-up by adding keyboardist/horn player Omar Akil and bassist Eric Eble. Cordero has opened national tours for Los Lobos, Calexico, Indigo Girls and others. Cordero’s last 2 albums have been released on the Chicago-based label Bloodshot Records. Here’s what the experts say
