Jolie Laide is an innovative forum for new art located in Center City Philadelphia at 224 N. Juniper St. presenting work by largely unseen or early career artists exhibiting in the US and abroad. Exhibitions will be supplemented with written works by a gifted group of art thinkers whom have also contributed to Beautiful/Decay, Juxtapoz and the Brooklyn Rail. The Main Gallery is a 1,000 sq. ft. raw space with concrete floors and 15ft tall brick walls with an adjoining 500 sq. feet of white-walled, exhibition space with 10 ft. ceilings. Across the street is the 700 sq. ft. Project Space primed for site-specific installations, film viewing, public talks and artist lectures.
