The Marinus Ensemble is a variable chamber ensemble dedicated to developing new approaches to programming and presenting the great music of our past and present, as well as building and engaging new audiences. Founded in 2010 and incorporated in 2011 by siblings Rachel and Joseph Kuipers, the Marinus Ensemble believes that through excellence, authenticity, personal engagement, and fresh energy, it can invigorate new audiences for classical music. It is a flexible group of young international soloists dedicated to bringing not only knowledge of art, but also knowledge through art to young and diverse audiences.
