Media in the 1950s

The 5 panel painted mural entitled Media in the 1950's depicts scenes of Media Borough's history. The old firehouse, sidewalk clock, trolley and other Media landmarks of past and present are depicted. The mural was completed by students of Penncrest High School, in collaboration with Meg Barney, and Media's Hometown Senior Center. The students used the photos in the Media Library archives for reference material.
The mural was funded by Penncrest High School, Media's Hometown Senior Center and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
