Asterial Dance is a professional contemporary dance company under the artistic direction of Megan Lynn. Megan formed the company, in May 2012 with the idea of providing performing opportunities for her fellow emerging professional dance friends who were struggling to navigate the overwhelming New York City scene.  In June 2012, Megan decided to turn the originally project-based company into a fiscally sponsored performing company. Asterial Dance received non-profit 501(c)3 status under The Field, an organization for emerging NYC artists.
