    MilkBoy Philly

    Where
1100 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107

MilkBoy Recording first opened in a small space above Zapf’s music in north Philly in 1994. Over the years, the studio evolved, attracted a variety of clients, and eventually moved to Ardmore, PA. In 2005, the first MilkBoy Coffee opened on the corner of Lancaster Ave and Cricket Ave in Ardmore; the cafe was established as a place for the community to gather and enjoy great coffee, food, and music.

Fast forward to 2010: MilkBoy owners Jamie Lokoff and Tommy Joyner were approached by the owners of a vacant building on the corner of 11th and Chestnut streets in center city Philadelphia, hoping that the pair could help to revitalize the block with a new MilkBoy bar/venue. Ground broke on MilkBoy Center City in May 2010, and as they say, the rest is history! MilkBoy Philadelphia added a bar and beefier PA system, and is still dedicated to providing customers with the same great coffee service and food we’re known for in the ‘burbs.
