The Newtown Business Association (NBA) is a membership organization for businesses that are located in Newtown or conduct business in Newtown on a regular basis. The mission of the NBA is to promote Newtown as a great place to live, work, shop and do business.

The Newtown Business Association originated in the 1950's when the organization was known as the Newtown Businessman's Association and was made up of the local businesses on State Street. As the area began to attract more and more shopping areas and professionals in the 1980's, the organization began to change. In the 1990's the Newtown Businessman's Association became the Newtown Business and Professional Association. In 2012 the name was changed to Newtown Business Association.
