Off The Wall Gallery opened in December of 1978 and has been showing visual art ever since. With its exhibit space consisting of the far wall at Dirty Frank's Bar, the gallery is undeniably casual--this is a place where "patrons can sit around, hear that the artist is having a lager a few stools over and strike up a conversation about the work." The gallery's shows often have an underlying unity, based on medium, thematic thread or even diversity itself.
