Callous Scrooge, shackled Marley, and the haunting spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future spring vividly to life in our WORLD PREMIERE adaptation of a favorite yuletide ghost story.

Featuring a vibrant mix of original songs and newly arranged nineteenth-century English carols, this music infused retelling captures the magic, joy, and generosity of Dickens’ beloved classic. FYI for People's Light holiday veterans: A Christmas Carol is not a panto, but IS interactive fun for every age!

Please note: masks are currently required indoors at People's Light, regardless of vaccination status. Ticket holders must show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID test, along with a valid photo ID, for entry into the theatre. Accessibility Information

There will be a Relaxed Performance of A CHRISTMAS CAROL on Sunday, December 19 at 2pm, which will include ASL interpretation. Audio description will be available at this performance upon request, as well as a pre-show Sensory Tour during which patrons are able to enter the theatre space, view the set and props, and ask questions. Relaxed Performances offer a judgment-free environment that invites individuals with autism, ADD, ADHD, dementia, and other sensory sensitivities to enjoy theatre in a relaxed, “shush-free” zone—a great option for parents with young children, too.

Open Captioning (on an LED screen near the stage) will be available for the final week of performances, from December 28 - January 2.

Our venues are wheelchair-accessible, and accessible seating is available to reserve. Complimentary companion seats are available to patrons who require a paid Personal Care Attendant - please contact the Box Office at 610.644.3500 or to reserve a companion ticket.
