    By William Shakespeare
Conceived for Six Actors by Zak Berkman and Samantha Reading
    Directed by Samantha Reading
    April 25 - May 27, 2018
Leonard C. Haas Stage at People's Light

Romeo and Juliet didn't have to die. In this inventive six-actor version of Shakespeare’s play, the traumatized parents, Friar, and Nurse relive the passions and perils of their star-crossed children. This classic tale of balconies and battlegrounds becomes a vibrant act of truth and reconciliation.
People's Light is wheelchair accessible and has handicap parking adjacent to both theatres. At the Leonard C. Haas Stage, an elevator allows patrons access to the second-floor lobby and the coffee and concessions bar, and there is a ground floor automatic door entrance for wheelchair accessibility. Front-row wheelchair seating is available to reserve - please inform the Box Office if anyone in your party requires wheelchair seating when ordering tickets.

Assisted listening devices and large-print programs are available from the Will Call desk upon request.

People's Light also offers select Open Caption performances, in addition to Relaxed Performances. Relaxed Performances feature reduced sound/light effects, subtle house lighting and complete freedom to talk and move around during the show, so that anyone with sensory sensitivities can comfortably enjoy a night of theater. For more information, visit our website: or call the Box Office at 610.644.3500.
