Orgon is a man who has everything: money, power, a beautiful home and family. But, when the irresistible Tartuffe entrances him, the seemingly perfect household is turned upside down unleashing a whirlwind of deception and seduction that threatens everything. This classic French farce by Molière, directed by Peter Reynolds, poses a timely question about belief: Should we trust what we see, or just blindly follow what we are told to be true?
Content Advisory: Tartuffe’s plot deals with religious hypocrisy and includes the depiction of several emotionally or sexually predatory actions.
