Orgon is a man who has everything: money, power, a beautiful home and family. But, when the irresistible Tartuffe entrances him, the seemingly perfect household is turned upside down unleashing a whirlwind of deception and seduction that threatens everything. This classic French farce by Molière, directed by Peter Reynolds, poses a timely question about belief: Should we trust what we see, or just blindly follow what we are told to be true?

Content Advisory: Tartuffe’s plot deals with religious hypocrisy and includes the depiction of several emotionally or sexually predatory actions.

COVID Policies: Masks and full vaccinations are encouraged at all performances, in accordance with regional, city-wide, and CDC guidelines. Because protocols may change, we recommend audiences be prepared for the possibility of mask mandates, and check Temple Theaters' website or social media for any changes before their performance.
