    Franklin's Secret City

    Pig Iron Theatre Company

    S. 5th Street and Chestnut Street Philadelphia PA 19106
    • Tuesday June 22nd 2021 at 9:00am to Wednesday September 22nd 2021 at 9:00pm

Philadelphia’s beloved experimental theatre group, Pig Iron, have created a walking-tour, adventure-game/ immersive-audio experience: an iPhone app for two players ages 10+ called FRANKLIN’S SECRET CITY.

Co-Writers Dan Rothenberg (Pig Iron’s Co-Artistic Director) and Robert Quillen Camp (Pay Up and Chekhov Lizardbrain) invented an alternate universe of secret societies, mysterious technologies, and inventions that border on magic, all hidden within Philadelphia’s historical sites and artifacts. With original music by Rosie Langabeer and Josh Machiz, this outdoor family-friendly adventure features a series of mind-bending puzzles that you must solve as a duo.

The app is available on iPhones only in “open-beta” as it is still a work-in-progress. The Android version is coming soon. For more information and the signup link please visit

    June 8-September 22, 2021, Signer’s Garden (5th and Chestnut Streets)

The experience takes 45-60 minutes and requires headphones.
