Located at 6th and Market streets, the Independence Visitor Center is the gateway to Independence National Historical Park, and the exclusive location to pick up free-timed tickets to tour Independence Hall.
We welcome all visitors to speak with our multilingual Visitor Services Representatives, who are fluent in twelve languages. They are available to help you make the most out of your time, with options to purchase tickets to more than 100 area attractions and tours; book hotel or restaurant reservations; share upcoming event information; and assist with all of your trip-planning needs.
The Independence Visitor Center is open 363 days a year, 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Stop in to browse and pick up regional maps and brochures; enjoy free informative historical films; charge your cell phone for free; and connect with our free wireless internet access. The Visitor Center is also home to the Independence Gift Shop, the official gift shop of the Greater Philadelphia region; and Cafe Independence.
