Present-day Old City occupies several blocks between Front and Fourth Streets to the east and west, generally bounded by Race Street (near the on-ramp to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge) to the north and Walnut Street to the south. Home to many fashionable bars and restaurants, the neighborhood is a popular bohemian hangout.
