Portside Arts Center is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) community arts center, located in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia. Our mission is to provide the community with creative programs and opportunities to develop their artistic abilities, imagination and inner creativity through the instruction of a diverse collection of talented artists. By building a self-awareness, an appreciation of one's own inner creativity and artistic skills, we hope to transform the lives of individuals, improve academic and economic success, awaken a person's social and civic sense, elminate prejudice and discrimination, and raise the quality of life in our neighborhoods.
