International House Philadelphia is a multicultural residential center, a source of distinctive programming, and the embodiment of an ideal. Founded over 100 years ago, IHP is an independent, non-profit organization housing more than 400 students, scholars and interns from as many as 95 countries around the world. A premiere destination in Philadelphia for world-class art and cultural events, IHP offers a wide-variety of public programming such as film-screenings, art exhibits, and lectures. We seek to serve International House’s residents as well as the Greater Philadelphia region’s multicultural community through our year-round exhibition and advocacy of artistically significant and socially relevant programming.
