    Illustrating for a Changing World

    To gain notice in an ever-changing world, books must keep up with the times. Join three-time Caldecott-winning illustrator, David Wiesner, as he discusses his strategy for staying current.

     

    Featured works will include Wiesner’s creative version of The Three Little Pigs; Spot, a story that is also a computer app; and the graphic novel Fish Girl. The Brandywine River Museum of Art will open at 5:30 p.m. with the presentation at 6 p.m. A book signing and reception will follow.

     

    $15 members and teachers with school ID; $20 non-members Titles by Wiesner will be available for purchase in the Museum shop.

    Accessibility Information

    The entire museum is wheelchair accessible, including bathrooms, water fountains and the museum café. Please use the museum’s riverside entrance to avoid steps. Service animals are welcome in the museum.
