An annual project of the African People's Education and Defense Fund (APEDF) and Black Star Industries (BSI). Carrying on the movement for African self-determination from the '60s to today!

Of the 10 largest U.S. cities, Philadelphia has the highest rates of deep poverty, mass imprisonment, child hunger and a 20-year disparity of life expectancy for African people.

APEDF and BSI bring genuine change and solutions to the grave disparities and injustices faced by the African community.
They build programs putting control over health, health care, education and economic development back into the hands of the African community.

Make a difference this MLK Day and join us!
